What's NOMEX
Aramid 1313 Was Firstly Developed By The Dupont United States, And In 1967, Achieved Commercial Production, The Product Is Registered As Nomex ; (NOMEX). This Is A Soft White, Slim Fluffy, Rich Luster Of The Fibers, The Appearance Is No Different From Ordinary Chemical-Induced, But Has A Set Of Public Good At An Unusual "Special Abilities":

Long-Lasting Thermal Stability: The Most Prominent Feature Of Aramid 1313 is High-Temperature Performance, It Can Be Used Under High Temperature At 220oC For Long-Term Without Aging. Its Electrical Performance And Mechanical Properties Can Maintain 10 Years, And Excellent Dimensionally Stable, Shrinkable Rate Was Only 1% At Around 250oC Heat ,Short-Term Exposure To High Temperature Of 300oC And Will Not Shrink, Embrittlement, Softening Or Melting, Only The Strong Temperature Above 370oC Began To Decompose , 400oC Carbonation, Such A High Temperature Thermal Stability Of Organic Fibers In The Present Is Unique.

Impressive Flame Retardant: We Know That The Air In The Combustion Of Materials In The Required Percentage Of The Volume Of Oxygen Is Called The Limiting Oxygen Index, Limiting Oxygen Index Greater The Better Flame-Retardant Properties. The Oxygen Content In Air Is Usually 21% Of The Aramid Limiting Oxygen Index Of Greater Than 1313's 28%, Are Flame Retardant Fiber, It Will Not Burn In The Air, Or Combustion, There Is Self-Extinguishing Nature. This Stems From The Inherent Characteristics Of Its Molecular Structure Is A Dielectric Aramid 1313 The Number Of Low Dielectric Strength Inherent In Its High Temperature, Low Temperature, High Humidity Conditions, Are Able To Maintain An Excellent Electrical Insulation, The Insulation With Its Preparation Of Paper Resistance To Breakdown Voltage Could Reach 10 Million Volts / Mm, Is Recognized As The Best Insulation Material.

Excellent Chemical Stability, Aramid 1313 Is Linear Molecules Of Connected Aryl Amide Bond Formed, Their Crystal, Hydrogen Bonds In The Two Plane Arranged In Three-Dimensional Structure, Which Makes A Strong Hydrogen Bonding Its Chemical Structure Is Unusually Stable, May Be Most Resistant To High Concentration Of Inorganic Acid And Other Chemicals, Corrosion, Anti-Hydrolysis And Steam Corrosion.

Excellent Mechanical Properties: Aramid 1313 is Flexible Polymer Materials, Low Stiffness With High Elongation Characteristics Make It The Same With Ordinary Fiber Spinnable Can Be Used Textile Machinery Processed Into A Variety Of Conventional Or Non-Woven Fabric, And Wear Resistance Tear, A Very Wide Scope Of Application.

Super Radioactive-Resistant: Aramid 1313 Performance Is Very Excellent in Resistant α,β,χ-Rays And Ultraviolet Radiation.  The 50Kv χ-Ray Radiation With 100 Hours, Its Fiber Strength To Maintain The Original 73%, While At This Time Had Become A Powder Polyester Or Nylon. Unique And Stable Chemical Structure Gives Excellent Performance Of Aramid 1313, Through To Comprehensive Utilization Of These Features, A Series Of New Features, New Products, Continuously Developed, Applied More And More Areas, More And More Popularity.

Special Protective Clothing: Aramid 1313 Fabrics In A Fire Will Not Burning, Non-Drip Melting, Non-Fuming, With Excellent Fire Protection. Especially In The Tu Yu 900-1500 oC High Temperature, The Cloth Will Quickly Carbonation And Thickened To Form A Unique Insulating Barrier To Protect Wearer Escape. If Adding A Small Amount Of Antistatic Fiber Or Aramid 1414 Fiber, Which Can Effectively Burst Of Textile Fabrics To Avoid Arc, Static Electricity, Flames And Other Hazards. With Colored Aramid 1313 Fibers Can Be Made Flight Suit, Anti-Chemical Warfare Clothing, Fire Fighting Suits And Blast Furnace Work Clothes, Welding Clothes, All Subdued, Radiation-Proof Overalls, Chemical Protective Clothing, High-Pressure Shield Clothing And Other Special Protective Clothing, For Aviation, Aerospace, Military Uniforms, Fire Protection, Petrochemical, Electrical, Gas, Metallurgy, Car And Many Other Fields. In Addition, In Developed Countries, Kevlar Fabric Is Also Widely Used As A Hotel Textiles, Life-Saving Access, Home Fire Safety Accessories, Ironing Board, Cladding, Kitchen Gloves And The Protection Of The Elderly And Children Of The Flame Retardant Pajamas
